MS Reinsurance Donated $200K To Charity
MS Reinsurance revealed its contribution of US$200,000 to Bermudian charities in 2023, complemented by team members’ volunteered hours.
A spokesperson said, “MS Reinsurance, the global reinsurer, announces that it donated US$200,000 to local Bermuda charities throughout 2023, as well as dedicated hours of volunteering by team members. Most recently, colleagues in Bermuda teamed up with Habitat for Humanity to assist with the renovation of St. James Church Rectory which will be transformed into a transitional home for adults needing assisted living on their own.
“In the third quarter of 2023, as part of its commitment to giving back to its community and improving opportunities on the island, MS Reinsurance supported recipients such as HOME, a charity dedicated to helping people out of homelessness and preventing future cases, Pathways, a non-profit addiction treatment provider, TROIKA, a theatre and creative arts centre for young people, Knowledge Quest, a scholarship provider focused on supporting the further education of students with financial difficulties and Delwood Middle School for its educational trip to Egypt.
“During the festive season, MS Reinsurance supported a range of different charities including Family Centre, The Eliza DoLittle Society, Meals on Wheels, The Salvation Army, Bermuda Red Cross and Age Concern to provide hot meals for those in need.
“The MS Reinsurance team also participated in gift-giving through The Coalition for the Protection of Children’s Toys for Tots program.”
