Police Confirm Death Of Rhyn Bearden
The police have confirmed the death of 23-year-old Rhyn Bearden following a collision on Thursday morning [April 25] in Warwick.
A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service [BPS] can now confirm the death of 23-year-old Rhyn Bearden, Bermuda’s second road fatality of 2024, and extends sincere condolences to his family and friends.
“Mr. Bearden died in hospital later Thursday morning, 25th April 2024, after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a truck and a wall around 9am that Thursday.
“The fatal collision occurred at the junction of Khyber Pass and Smiths Avenue, Warwick.
“A BPS Family Liaison Officer is providing relevant support to Mr. Bearden’s family.
“The Roads Policing Unit continues to investigate this road fatality and renews the appeal for any witnesses that have not already come forward, or anyone with any relevant information, to call 247-1788.
“Alternatively, please share any information that you may have with a police officer you’re familiar with.”
