Jones & McCrimmon Play In Dominican Republic
Jaden Jones and Chase McCrimmon commenced their participation in the Central American & Caribbean Tennis Confederation Under-14 tournament in the Dominican Republic.
In the boy’s under 14 Round Robin, Jones competed in Group 2 and McCrimmon in Group 6.
On the first day, Jones played three matches. He was defeated 6-1, 6-1 by Miguel Baquero of the Dominican Republic, and 6-2, 6-1 to Alejandro Morales from Costa Rica. However, he rebounded to clinch a resounding 6-0, 6-0 victory over Nathanael Lawrence from Saint Vincent.
Meanwhile, McCrimmon played two matches, ending the day with a record of one win and one loss. He secured a straight-sets victory over Rodrigo Montero from the Dominican Republic, 6-0, 6-3, but later lost 6-1, 6-0 to Antonio Martinez from Guyana.
