Rugby League: Renegades & Police Win

The 2024/25 Bermuda Rugby Football Union’s League season got underway at the National Sports Center, with a women’s league double-header and a single men’s division match.

Women’s Division

In the opener the Renegades shut out the Teachers 12 – 0, the Renegades got tries from Jessica Cassidy, and Michelle Croghanm while Laura Mulligan kicked a conversion.

The Police shut out the Amazons 41 – 0 in the other match-up, the Police got 3 tries from Anna Hutchinson, while Akila Craig added 2 tries, with Ciara Izuchukwu, and Becky Garley adding a try each. Hutchinson kicked 2 conversions, and Garley added the other.

Men’s Division

In the lone men’s division match saw the Renegades defeat the Teachers 28 – 14.
