Geraldine Sidders To Face Overseas Fighter
Geraldine Sidders will face American Keira Woolley in a junior Sanda kickboxing bout on the Fight Night undercard at The Shed in Dockyard on February 15.
Sidders represents the Bermuda Sanshou Association [BSA], while Woolley trains at the Kaniwa Dojo in Amarillo, Texas, under coach Albert Treto, who has brought fighters to the island on several occasions.
Also on the amateur undercard, Tristan Robinson, of the BSA, fights American Jace Gaddy, of the Kaniwa Dojo, in a Sanda kickboxing bout; Michael Tristan Burgess, of the BSA, meets American Derek Wheeler, of the Kaniwa Dojo, in a Sanda kickboxing contest; and Cole Durham, of the BSA, takes on Jay Astwood, of Fight City Muay Thai and Fitness, in an all-domestic K-1 kickboxing bout.
On the professional boxing card, Andre Lambe [10-0-0] faces Mexico’s Francisco Martinez [12-9-0] in a welterweight contest; meanwhile, Saundre Simmons [5-0-0] takes on Mexican Alexandra Perez in a light heavyweight bout.
