I worked for government for 17 years of dedicated service very rare these days , when I was forced to retire by law , the man… he told me that my leaving was a “Brain drain” . A complement never the less ,what could I say ?
I was not the first and neither will i be there the last to go in this fairer Bermuda of ours.
Those are just words brothers and sisters .
At least the T.C.D. puts you through a personal private health examination.
Are we living in a topsy turvy world ?
The Bermuda retirement law has wronged so many competent people here that they have lost count.
I guess that it all amounts to what color tie you wear, if any.
You will beleive the P.L.P. GM wanted me to stay on at a reduced pay.
( out of respect please stop laughing )
The CM got a vey polite” no thank you” !
At (##) this past Jan /25 i am waiting for just about (##) years and counting for my O.B.E to arise in the mail .
