2025 Caribbean Leaders Dialogue
In May, the Caribbean Canada Leaders Dialogue 2025 [CCLD 2025] will bring together 100 individuals from business, education, government, labour, and civil society for a cross-sector experiential leadership development program.
A spokesperson said, “For the past 18 months, a group of dedicated leaders have been working to bring the Caribbean Canada Leaders Dialogue 2025 to life.
“Driven by a relentless passion to grow leadership competencies across the Commonwealth, the Duke of Edinburgh Commonwealth Study Conferences Inc Canada Charity Board, in collaboration with alumni from previous programs, is set to launch its 2025 program on 22 May 2025.
“Hosted in Canada, Bermuda and the Caribbean, from 22 May to 1 June, the CCLD 2025 educational leadership experience hosts 100 participants from these regions and amplifies a proven platform. Working across business, government, labour, education and civil society, dialogues create the competencies and connections in support of the Canada, Bermuda and the Caribbean community.
“Starting in Canada and moving to Bermuda and six countries in the Caribbean over 10-days, the highly diverse participants, will have first-hand exposure to new peer-to-peer interactive learning experiences provoking dialogue across real time, complex issues, so that the quality and relevance of their decision-making is improved.
“Under the CCLD 2025 umbrella theme of Impact-Driven Leadership: Creating Positive Change in Our Communities, there is a focus on six crucial sub-themes – diversity and inclusion, sustainability and innovation, ethics, impact, collaboration, and advocacy.
“As an evidence-based beacon of what is possible when working together, graduates of this dialogue will be formidable decision-makers and change-agents advancing sustainable and innovative approaches to drive positive change across communities and economies.
“The purpose of the conference is not to produce high sounding resolutions and weighty conclusions but to challenge the participants’ assumptions and prejudices; to give them the chance to examine real situations and the issues arising from the interaction of the organizations and the communities in which they operated.
