Blake Montgomery’s Knights Beat Oshawa
Ice hockey player Blake Montgomery and the London Knights defeated the Oshawa Generals 5-2 at home in Game 2 of the Ontario Hockey League final yesterday [May 10].
The best-of-seven series for the J. Ross Robertson Cup is now tied 1-1.
Montgomery joined the Knights on an OHL Scholarship and Development Agreement in November last year.
Drafted by National Hockey League team the Ottawa Senators in June last year, Montgomery spent the previous two seasons with the Lincoln Stars of the USHL.
The Knights finished top of the Western Conference, having won 55 of their 66 regular season matches.
