David Leach Wins Bowling Championship
David Leach claimed victory in the Bermuda National Bowls Singles Championship at the National Sports Centre yesterday [June 29].
Leach defeated Dave Barton 20-5 in the final, having defeated Jude Barton 18-6 in the semi-finals.
Barton beat Braden Rustrand 20-6 enroute to the final.
The preliminary stage of the competition took place on 8 June.
Leach, the president of the Bermuda Bowls Association, Dave Barton, Jude Barton, Braden Rustrand will compete at the International Island Games in Orkney next month.
They will be joined by Tamara Leach and Jinhwa Rustrand.
