Jovan Jordan-Whitter Leads UNE To Win
The University of New England women’s tennis team, coached by Bermudian Jovan Jordan-Whitter, edged the University of Saint Joseph [Conn.] 4-3 in a conference match at the Blue Cyclone Complex.
The Nor’easters improved to 5-1 overall and 1-1 in the Conference of New England, while remaining unbeaten at home at 4-0.
The match was decided in the final singles contest at the No. 2 spot, where Nora Hill outlasted her opponent in three sets to seal the victory.
