Video: Sunday Sept 7th “Good News” Spotlight
News that BF&M awarded the $20,000 John Wight Scholarship to Veronica Swan DeGraff, the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute [BUEI] presented a $10,000 bursary to D’Angele Symonds, and the Government awarded Overseas Undergraduate Scholarships to six students were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, Scott Barnes secured his fourteenth title at the Xtream Rock Island Grand Prix – North America’s largest kart street race, footballer Aaliyah Nolan scored a hat-trick in Bradford City AFC Women’s 7-1 home win over Alnwick Women, Jacob Madeiros scored on his debut for Columbia College in a 1-0 home victory against Johnson & Wales University, and Ayleal Dill scored twice in Southwell City’s 4-0 away win over Histon in the United Counties League Cup.
