News that Nicholas Christopher received a Dorian Theater Awards nomination for Outstanding Lead Performance in a Broadway Musical, Department of Child and Family Services held its Annual Appreciation Tea for foster parents with awards presented to Kimberly Jackson, Cherie Edwards, and Verleda Simons, and Armari Maybury was named the first recipient of the Martello Re Bermuda Scholarship at Bermuda College were among the positive news stories from the past week.

In additional good news, Mikhail Nisbett graduated in aviation and earned his multiengine commercial pilot certification, while Zydon Furbert and Miles Outerbridge were recognized at Montverde Academy Athletic Honors Night.
