Trott’s Cardiff secures comeback win

Goalkeeper Nathan Trott and Cardiff City staged a late comeback to defeat Reading FC 2-1 at Cardiff City Stadium. Cardiff fell behind early but rallied to overturn the deficit. Trott’s victory keeps Cardiff in the upper tier of the table.

Wells’ penalty saved in Luton loss

Striker Nahki Wells and his Luton Town side suffered a 2-0 defeat to Mansfield Town FC at Kenilworth Road. The critical moment occurred early in the match with the score at 0-0 when Wells’ penalty attempt was saved by Mansfield goalkeeper Liam Roberts. Luton subsequently conceded two goals.
