Scott Barnes Ready For Rok Cup Opener
Karting driver Scott Barnes will get his Rok Cup Florida Winter Tour campaign under way with the opening round in Orlando, Florida, starting tomorrow [January 16].
Barnes, who races for Maranello Karts USA, will compete in the entire series for the first time in his career.
The championship consists of three rounds, with the first two taking place at the Orlando Kart Centre, while the third will be held at the Kartplex in Palmetto, Florida.
“I’m not racing the Skusa Winter Series this year for the first time in six years,” Barnes told Bernews.
“We thought we’d do something different and race the Rok Cup.
“I’ve raced in the series twice before, but never the entire series.”
Barnes, who competes in the Shifter Masters class, added: “I’m familiar with the track and will be looking to add another championship.”
