Ball Hockey: Spine & Sport Defeat BDA Spirits
Spine & Sport defeated BDA Spirits 4–2 in Bermuda Ball Hockey League action at the PCC Hockey Rink, earning a key result in a matchup between two teams near the bottom of the standings.
The game marked the only fixture of the evening and featured the league’s seventh-place and sixth-place teams. Spine & Sport took control early, with Johnny Talbot scoring to give his side a 1–0 lead at the end of the opening period. Both teams had limited scoring chances in the first frame.
Spine & Sport extended their advantage in the second period with three additional goals. Talbot scored his second of the game, while Ryan Bates and Cole Haggett each added a goal to build a 4–0 lead.
BDA Spirits responded in the third period, with Ryan Marshall scoring twice to cut the deficit to two goals. Despite the late pressure, Spine & Sport maintained their lead through the closing minutes to secure the 4–2 victory.
