Rugby: Teachers, Renegades & Police Win
The Bermuda Rugby Football Union league season continued at the National Sports Center with matches in the Ladies and Men’s Divisions.
Ladies Division: Teachers and Renegades Dominate
The Teachers defeated the Police 68–0. Somaia Saltus scored three tries. Christina Halliday, Heidi Groves and Lysmeire Santana each added two tries. Santana also kicked nine conversions. Bella Greene scored one try.
In the second ladies’ match, the Renegades beat the Bermudianas 42–5. Leanna Aggarwal and Nakato Luzuka each scored two tries. Ashley Godek, Cat Morris, Jessica Cassidy and Stephanie Madeiros each added one try. Laura Mulligan kicked one conversion. Zaria Codrington scored the Bermudianas’ lone try.
Men’s Division: Police Outlast Teachers
In the Men’s Division, the Police defeated the Teachers 22–14. Jamie Baum scored two tries for the Police. Lucas Nyamoto and Jason Hendrie each added a try. Adam Martin kicked one conversion.
Camren Caines and Dzuri Gill scored tries for the Teachers. Jakee Simons added two conversions.
