Y-Mutual Winds Up On A Solvent Basis
The final general meeting of Y-Mutual Insurance Ltd. was held in Bermuda on November 9, at which time the captive reinsurer — owned by member YMCA organisations throughout the United States — was liquidated on a solvent basis. Validus Hit With Transatlantic Lawsuit
Bermuda’s Validus Holdings was yesterday [Nov.8] accused of illegally bolstering its hostile takeover bid of insurer Transatlantic by attempting to change the size of the US firm’s board of directors. Survey: 83% Satisfied With Police

Video: Fire At Riddell’s Bay Golf Club
Late last night [Nov.18] there was a fire on the grounds of the Riddell’s Bay Golf & Country Club in Warwick, which saw smoke pour out into the night sky. Turtles Released Back Into The Wild
Seven young turtles which spent much of the year at the Bermuda Aquarium, Museum & Zoo [BAMZ] have now been released into the Sargasso Sea.
