Send us defective bullets that when the trigger is pulled , they will destroy the gun and deform the hand that seeks to kill .

    • Tommy Chong says:

Have you got your suite ready? Wolf ears would be cool for the extra affect.

Though I’d rather see a less sympathetic hero come along like Frank Castle or Johny Blaze that would be judge, jury & executioner of the guilty of course.

  2. CFC_BLU says:

Bring back the death penalty Maybe it will deter the nuisances in our little island

    • YOUNG OBA MEMBER says:

We can;t bring back the death penalty. In order to have British Passports we had to rule the death penalty out.

      • Tommy Chong says:

So why are we allowed to have other laws that don’t comply with laws in Britain?

      • Tommy Chong says:

“Even in states where prosecutors infrequently seek the death penalty, the price of obtaining convictions and executions ranges from $2.5 million to $5 million per case (in current dollars), compared to less than $1 million for each killer sentenced to life without parole.”

This is spinning the cost of the case into the equation & not just the cost of the execution. Any court cases can run up a huge bill even a divorce case can go that high.

Wow!!! I would expect better figures & facts out of a prominent law university.

OH YEAH!!! Because there are so many non gang members getting shot it might be one of us next. I’d believe that if I was blind, deaf & dumb.

  4. To Ban or not to Ban says:

The Death Penalty will not deter violent crimes but it will definately prevent repeat offenders.

    • 5boro says:

Capital Punishment costs more than life without parole though, which would also prevent repeat offenders.

      • Tommy Chong says:

I’m not for capital punishment as it could mean an innocent may get put to death but you are incorrect. Lethal injection cost $86 in the states probably $100 if legislated here. Life without parole cost $80,000 a year in Bermuda & most who get without parole don’t actually serve the whole sentence because westgate is too full & the cost is too high. Maybe if the courts stopped putting people in prison for less socially threatening acts like minor drug possessions & find other more intelligent punishments for them they could afford to put killers away for life.

    • Can't Take It Anymore says:

The death penalty would prevoke more violence and reawaken the riots of the 70′s. History repeating itself.

      • Tommy Chong says:

For anybody who is really worried about reawaken the riots of the 70′s there are other things already going on in Bermuda that could do this.

  5. Rice Cakes says:

Wow the Police think the victim was targeted by the gunman. Good job.
