New Boulevard Head Coach: Derrick “Rocky” Bean

The Boulevard Community Club announced the 3-year appointment of Mr. Derrick ‘Rocky’ Bean as the Head Coach of its senior and youth football programme.

Mr. Bean brings a wealth of international and local footballing coaching experience to the club. He has coached in both Canada and Bermuda and is currently an educator in the Bermuda Public Education System. Mr. Bean is committed to changing the lives of young people through football and reconnecting to the community of Central Pembroke.

Lalisha Simmons, Vice President, Boulevard Community Club said: “Coach Beach comes highly respected in both the Central Pembroke and football communities here and in Canada. Coach Bean embraces the club’s desire to focus on its community and empower the lives of young men and women through football. “

A spokesperson said: “Several months ago, the Boulevard Community Club committed to living up to its ideals of family, education, cultural pride, integrity, community Service, and Youth Development. The appointment of Mr. Bean represents a major step in that direction.

“The club is requesting all current and interested players to attend the inaugural training session with Coach Bean this Sunday, August 19th at 9am at the Victor Scott School Field. Players should bring training gear.”

    Yes! GO BOULEVARD!!!!! Even though it will be training, I will be watching you on Sunday. So close & yet so close :-)
    Enough respect for the coaches that are making a complete turnaround of the Boulevard Club. I miss watching them play.
