Bermuda Lose World Championship Opener
French St. Martin defended their home turf well on Friday [Aug 31] as they defeated the Bermuda men’s volleyball team in straight sets 25-23, 25-23 and 27 -25 in match number one of FIVB Men’s World Championship Qualification Tournament NORCECA Group D.

This summer, Bermuda is participating in the Qualifying Tournaments for the World Volleyball Championships to be held in 2014. The Men’s Group D World Championship Qualifier is being held on August 31, September 1 & 2 in French St. Martin. During that event the Bermuda Men will be facing off against Antigua, Anguilla, French St. Martin and Dutch St. Marteen.
