Football: Bermuda U/15 Lose 2-0 To El Salvador
Bermuda faced El Salvador in the 3rd place game this evening [Aug 25] in the CONCACAF Under/15 Tournament taking place in the Cayman Islands, and according to a tweet from CONCACAF, lost 2-0 to El Salvador.

Bermuda had advanced past the group stage after going through Group A undefeated beating the Cayman Islands 3-0, Aruba 3-1, the Bahamas 1-0, the US Virgin Islands 8-0 and St Maarten 5-0. Bermuda then lost to Guatemala in the semi finals on Friday, with the game going to penalties.
The Bermuda team included Yanai Smith-Davis, Ahria Simons, Jordan Lambe, Amar Lewis, Oneko Lowe, Jason Symonds, Jai-zel Smith Deshields, Jacob Greene, Justin Bell, Knory Scott, Osagi Bascome, Yani Smith-Davis, Quinn Outerbridge, Judah Chapman, Travis Boyles, Jecoa Thomas, Aaron Burgess, Vance Wall-Brown and Llineiko Millet.
The tournament involved 23 teams from Antigua & Barbuda, Aruba, the Bahamas, Belize, Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, Curacao, El Salvador, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Martinique, Puerto Rico, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Lucia, Saint Martin, St. Maarten, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, Trinidad & Tobago and the US Virgin Islands.
CONCACAF said the Championship — which will be held every two years — is expected to strengthen the love of the game among young players and foster a commitment to the sport that will grow along with them.
