Bermuda Rugby Sevens Latest Action Results
Police Rugby Club stood head and shoulders above their opponents at the National Sports Center in the latest round of Bermuda Rugby Football Union’s Men’s and Ladies 7s.
Both the Men’s and Ladies Police teams played good rugby and looked like teams that are gelling well together with numbers.
Ladies Round Up:
Police RFC 5 Teachers 1
Jo Hickley led the Police to victory with 2 tries while Erica MCarthur, Mica Tomita and Lauren Wilson all added a try each. Katy Wright scored the lone try for the Teachers.
Mariners RFC 4 Renegades 1
Daneka Bourden scored two tries as the Mariners defeated the Renegades. Amanda Swan and Alisha Smith added a try each. Orla Halpin scored the lone try for the Renegades.
Men’s Rugby 7s, 3rd leg:
Police RFC 14 Mariners 5
The Police got single tries from Guerhardt LLamprecht and Paul Davis, Davis also kicked two conversions as they defeated the Mariners 16 – 5. The Mariners RFC lone try came from Chakote Bean.
Teachers RFC 10 Renegades 12
Adam Chevis and Ian Morrisson both scored a try each for the Teachers, however the Renegades got two tries from Johan Vivier and a Andrew Boyce conversion earned them the 12 – 10 win.
Mariners RFC 22 Teachers RFC 14
Chakote Wainwright went over for three tries and Rory Dublin added a Try and a Conversion for the Mariners as they defeated the Teachers 22 – 14. Patrick Richardson and Robin Seale both scored a try each, he also kicked two conversion.
Police RFC 29 Teachers 7
Roman, scored two tries and a conversion for the Police in their big wig over the Teachers. Also getting on the scoreboard for the Police was John Stathakis, Nigel Burgess and Paul Davis, Davis also kicked a conversion. Micah Perozzi scored the lone try for the Teachers, while Robin Seale kicked the conversion.
Police RFC 31 Renegades 0
Paul Davis scored two tries and kicked two conversions for the Police in their final game of the night. Also scoring tries were Guerhardt LLamprecht, John Stathakis and Adam Rossides. Roland Kane kicked a 1 Conversion.
