Saturday: Clean Up Scheduled For Warwick Park

October 9, 2015

After being postponed due to the passing of Hurricane Joaquin, a clean up is scheduled for tomorrow [Oct 10] at Warwick Long Bay playground on South Shore Road, lead by MP Jeff Sousa.

Mr. Sousa, who owns a landscaping firm, will be providing trucks to haul away collected debris, will have tools such as rakes and shovels on hand, with people attending welcome to bring their own equipment as well.

The clean up will begin at 9.00am, allowing for a “solid day of work,” with the aim to make the “park a nice place for all families to able to enjoy.”

Mr. Sousa said, “Anyone is welcome to join in and lend a hand. We are responsible as people as well, and we need to all come together.

“Many hands make light work; together we can make Bermuda a better place by pitching in.”

Thanks Jeff, and all the others for doing their neighbourly duty after such an event. It’s nice seeing people come together…with less politics!
