Two Men In Critical Condition After Altercation

Two men — aged 32 and 28 — have been left in critical condition in the ICU following the incident outside the Southampton Rangers Club last night [Oct 16], and a 29-year-old man has been arrested for affray.

The police said that both men were stabbed, and also noted that, “initial reports suggested that shots were fired; however currently there is no forensic evidence to substantiate those reports.”

A police spokesperson said, “Around 11pm on Sunday, October 16th police officers responded to a disturbance and unconfirmed firearm incident outside the Southampton Rangers Cricket Club.

“Details remain unclear at this time. Initial reports suggested that shots were fired; however currently there is no forensic evidence to substantiate those reports.

“As police personnel secured the scene, a 29 year old Southampton man was arrested for affray and remains in police custody at this time.

“At last check two men stabbed during the disturbance, a 32 year old Warwick man and a 28 year old Pembroke man, were both in critical condition at the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

“Detectives continue to appeal for witnesses or anyone with relevant information regarding this incident to contact the Serious Crime Unit on 247-1739 or the confidential Crime Stoppers hotline 800-8477.”

    Rangers,

    I have to disagree with what u have said. Not all town people are up to no good. There are a lot of people that have moved out of town into other parishes and are not causing trouble. Trouble makers come from all over this island not just in town.
