Government Schools To Reopen On Monday
[Updated] The Ministry of Education announced that all Government schools − pre-schools, primary, middle and senior — will reopen on Monday, and will operate on a normal schedule.
A spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Education this afternoon announced that all Government schools − pre-schools, primary, middle and senior will reopen tomorrow [Monday, October 17]. Schools will operate on a normal schedule.
“The Ministry is advising parents and students to use extra caution walking to and from school as some sidewalks and roadways have not been fully cleared.”
Update 5.00pm: BELCO confirms that all schools have had power restored.
