OBA Donates Towards CORE Christmas Dinner
OBA Parliamentarians raised $1,100 to donate to the second annual Community Outreach Resource and Education [CORE] pre-Christmas dinner that will be held tomorrow [Dec 15] at the Devonshire Recreation Club.
Organised by Melody Bean, the dinner is provided at no cost to those in need. Last year more than 230 people enjoyed food, fellowship and fun at the dinner and this year more than 400 are expected.
Ms Bean thanked contributors Spring Garden, Jamaican Grill, Grannies Kitchen, Yardie Kitchen, Soul Food, Sensational Delights, the Cake Shop, and members of the community who made the dinner possible.
