For three years, HSBC Bermuda has provided funding and resources to demolish existing unwanted structures and help return the land to a natural green state. As part of their Community Action Day Programme, HSBC Bermuda staff volunteers have removed invasive vegetation and have helped replant endemic flora and installed Longtail Igloos on more than one acre of land.

Acting Minister of Public Works, Zane Desilva stated, “On behalf of the Bermuda Government, the people of Bermuda and the visitors to our island, as well as the flora and fauna who call this place home, I salute you HSBC Bermuda – for your commitment, hard work, and dedication. We all owe you a debt of gratitude – so thank you. Residents and visitors are sure to enjoy this reserve for generations to come.”
