PLP Chairman Takes Leave of Absence
Progressive Labour Party Chairman Anthony Santucci has announced that he is taking a leave of absence, which is effective from June 18 2011, to deal with “personal issues.” An update on the PLP’s website says that Deputy Chairman Kim Lightbourne will assume Mr. Santucci’s duties. Mr Santucci also recently lost his job at the Grotto Bay Resort.
Update 4pm: A spokesperson for CADA said, “The information provided by VSB News on June 21 and June 22 is erroneous. Mr. Anthony Santucci has not resigned from the CADA Board. CADA’s Board firmly supports Mr. Santucci as the Chairman, a position he has held for five years.”

No it was a matter with his job at Grotto Bay Hotel.

My statement has nothing to do with the PLP – if you read it correctly. The “they” that I make mention of is not the PLP – - it is anyone who believes that what happened in this situation will not be revealed in time.
Support is required for all persons involved – thus I hope that we, as a community, will provide that support for EVERYONE that this situation affects – plain and simple statement, don’t you think?
Cause “just a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down”, right?

Out of respect for the individuals involved, I will not comment on the specifics of the incident. My previous statements reflect the seriousness of the situation – - it is amazing to me that they affect you as they do.
The purpose of my comments is to indicate that the full story has not been told yet – - BUT IT WILL BE TOLD. I do not believe that this is going to go away, so my thoughts are with all the people involved in this mess (because that is exactly what it is).

Wrong. He was fired from Grotto Bay and subsequently stepped down as Chairman of the PLP to deal with “personal reasons”.
If you really think it was all just “for personal reasons” you really are Mary Poppins….
Anyway, nice to know he’s still at CADA providing a great example for people who drink too much.

Often we are faced with difficult situations in our lives, we come up against things we never expect. But, you know that God never gives us no more than we can handle. Just hang in there and all we be okay in the end. Life always brings some unexpected turns and twists. But, knowing the kind of person you are you will be just fine. DO not hear any nay sayers,or the haters…, as they will always exist. Hope all works out well for you !!
