Something about P.Cox eyes seem not to be trusted ! THats just me, never met her.

  2. US Observer says:

Why are there motorized (mopeds) riding along sides the unmotorized (go-carts) and pedal bikes like they are attached to each other? An accident waiting to happen…I personally witnessed this a few years back and it’s fun to watching, however I see nothing has changed. No policing or organization. I guess there is no such thing as law suits in Bermuda in the event something does happen. It’s a great event; just very risky; lucky and fortunate for the riders in displaying their craft. Just try being more Pro-Active rather than Re-Active. It’s all just fun and games right?

Ditto ! I grew up in the neighbourhood, knowing the roads and course helps… I agree needs policing……………..

    • Motown Govenor says:

There was meetings on this very subject just days before this event & it was clearly stated that there was to be no other vehicles allowed on the course other then the one rider carrying the camera man. Like any other place in the world we have our fair share of people who choose to not follow the rules & do their own thing. Once they where on the track there isn’t much to be done other then try & resolve it after the fact since the drivers don’t have radio’s as to be able to call off the race mid way through. Luckily Bermudians aren’t quick to call for lawsuits such as in the U.S. & a waiver was signed by all participants prior to the event (a little more proactive then you first thought huh?). As for policing, the run is supervised by the local police force as well as a couple civilian volunteers along the entirety of the course.

  3. Please St.David’s be cearful! you allow too many motobikes in he race.
An accident can happen and someone will get hurt! then it will be stopped.
