Photo Set #1: Bermuda Kennel Club Dog Show

The Bermuda Kennel Club hosted its annual dog show today [Oct 19] at Somersfield Academy, with more than 90 dogs from nearly 30 different breeds on show. The dogs and their handlers and owners are from Bermuda, Canada, and the United States, while the judges come from Canada, Norway, and the UK.

These international All-Breed Championship Dog Conformation Shows are where each purebred dog is judged against an ideal specimen of their breed, as described in its Breed Standard; this same practice is used in events such as the Westminster Dog Show, Crufts, and the AKC/Eukanuba Championships.
