Commission Of Inquiry To Resume Hearings
The Commission of Inquiry advised that they will hold their third Public Hearing beginning at 9:30am on Monday, November 28th.
Noting that the schedule for next week’s hearings may be subject to change, the Commission provided the schedule below.
Monday, November 28
- Opening Statement Commission Chairman: Sir Anthony Evans
- Subpoena Hearings: Bermuda Emissions Control Ltd | Mr. Donal Smith
- Witness evidence: Mrs. Joyce Hayward [former Accountant General]
Tuesday, November 29
- Application by Counsel Mr. Jerome Lynch on behalf of Dr. Ewart Brown
Wednesday, November 30
- Provisional Witness evidence: Dr. Brown
- Closing Submissions by Counsel for persons
- Closing Submissions by Counsel to the Commission
Thursday, December 1
- Closing Submissions by Counsel to the Commission concluded.
- Closing Statement Sir Anthony Evans.
The Commission’s hearings will be held at St. Theresa’s Church Hall, Laffan Street, Hamilton.
In addition to Sir Anthony, former Justice of Appeal in Bermuda, the Commission members are lawyer John Barritt, businesswoman Fiona Luck and businessman Kumi Bradshaw.
