GPO To Relocate Letter Floor Retail Services

The Bermuda Post Office has advised that the General Post Office in Hamilton will relocate its letter floor retail services to the lower level of the GPO building.

A spokesperson said, “The public is advised that effective April 3, 2017, the General Post Office [GPO] in Hamilton will relocate its letter floor retail services to the lower level of the GPO building.

“Currently these services are located on the ground floor of the GPO.

“The public is being advised to access the GPO via Parliament Street for all stamp sales, letter and parcel post service is effective this date.

“The GPO post boxes, Bermuda Philatelic Bureau, GPO general reception and administration areas will not be affected by this move. The public will still be able to access these areas via the ground floor of the GPO through the building’s Church or Parliament Street entrances.

“The GPO takes this opportunity to apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused and appreciates the public’s patience as it works to streamline and improve its operations and services.”
