This past weekend was again marred with tragedy, as 52-year-old Collins Smith died following a motorcycle collision. In addition, an altercation resulted in a 32-year-old man being injured and a 40-year-old man being arrested, Tropical Storm Gert formed in the Atlantic, the Around the Island Powerboat Race was held, Reggie Lambe scored for Carlisle United and various other community and sporting events were held.
