Basketball Elite City League: Falcons Win
The Falcons were crowned the Bermuda Basketball Atlantic Vision Care Elite City League 2017 Champions after defeating the Warriors inside the Cedarbridge Academy Gymnasium.
The Final saw the Warriors once again come up a little short as the Falcons defeated them 76-68.
The Warriors down by 20 at the half 44 – 24, made a run at the start of the second half to close the gap to under ten, eventually ran out of steam falling by 8 points.
The Falcons were led to victory by Chris Crumpler who scored a game high 33 points, he also had 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals, while his teammate Kevin Stephens came up 2 assists shy of a triple double as he scored 23 points, he also had 12 rebounds, 8 assist and 3 steals.
Kyle Van Helen led the Warriors with 19 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot and Kobe Imlay scored 15 points, he had 12 rebounds and 1 assist.
