Appleby Youth Football Cup Finals On Saturday
This Saturday [April 7] the Appleby Youth Football Knockout Cup Finals will take place at the National Sports Centre starting at 12.00 pm.
A spokesperson said, “BAA will take on PHC Whites in the Under 13 Division 2 final at 12:00. BAA progressed to the final following a 2-0 victory over Young Men’s Social Club in the semifinal. Kimani Hendrickson scored two early first half goals to send his team to the final.
“BAA will face a PHC Whites team who won their semifinal contest versus Devonshire Cougars with a comfortable 5-1 victory. Temai Hewey led PHC with a hat trick with Hayden Dill and Malik Marshall adding a goal each. Alziae Burgess scored the consolation goal for Devonshire Cougars.
“North Village Reds and Dandy Town both recorded comfortable wins to secure their spots in the Under 13 Division 1 final. North Village got past PHC Blacks 5-1 in their semifinal. North Village were gifted an own goal in the third minute before Kenori Simons added two goals along with Owen Botelho and Torque Outerbridge.
“Zijae Jones scored the lone goal for PHC. Dandy Town eased past ABC with a 4-1 victory at Bernard Park. David Blankendal scored three and Kazhi Sealey scored one with Tyrese Charves scoring for ABC. The Appleby under 13 division 1 semifinal will kick off at 2:00.
“Dandy Town will square off against PHC in the Under 15 final at 4:00 p.m. Dandy Town saw off BAA in their semifinal with goals from Jahdae Broadbelt, Natrae Eversley, Isaiah Blankendal at the BFA Field. PHC also recorded a shut out with a 2-0 win over ABC. Zakyah Lee scored both goals for the winners.”
