Municipal Governance Reform Online Survey
The Ministry of Home Affairs is reminding the public that they are currently undertaking consultation to “determine the most appropriate way to strengthen and modernize municipal governance for the benefit of Bermuda,” and noted that the public can give feedback via an online survey.
A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Home Affairs wishes to remind the public that it is currently undertaking consultation to determine the most appropriate way to strengthen and modernize municipal governance for the benefit of Bermuda.
“The consultation period includes meetings with various stakeholder groups, town hall meetings and the following survey.
“At the end of the consultation period, a policy document will be made available for review and comment by the general public, prior to the Government deciding on the optimal governance model for municipalities in Bermuda.
“Members of the public can give feedback on this issue by emailing corporationreform@gov.bm and/or by taking a brief survey which can be found by clicking here or by going to the www.gov.bm homepage. It will expire on October 6.”
