Butterfield & Vallis Annual Charity Day Initiative
On Tuesday, March 19th, both divisions of Butterfield & Vallis will close at 3.00pm for their annual Charity Day initiative.
All staff will be involved in a host of activities across the island. You’ll be able to spot them in their heather grey Butterfield & Vallis shirts at any of these locations – KBB clean-ups at Shelly Bay Beach, Playground and Park, the shoreline across from Empire Grocery, Palmetto Road, Astwood Park & Beach and Mangrove Bay Beach.
- National Trust – Pond House
- Salvation Army Citadel Dining Hall to assist with cooking
- Salvation Army Emergency Housing Complex to assist with cooking
- First Baptiste Church to assist with cleaning
- Windreach – numerous jobs
- SPCA – numerous jobs
- Cedar Tree Vets – odd jobs
- Bermuda Aquarium Museum & Zoo – odd jobs
- Lorraine Rest Home, Sylvia Richardson Rest Home and Westmeath – numerous activities
- Tree Tops Nursery at St. Mark’s Church, Tree Tops Nursery at St. Anne’s Church,
- Kiddie Academy, Bright Beginnings Nursery to read to the children
- PALS to paint the exterior of the building
- Bermuda Heart Foundation to assist with filing/cleaning
- Bermuda Jump Rope Federation to assist with the programme
- Dolphin Quest – painting and other tasks
“Butterfield & Vallis are involved in supporting countless events throughout the year with sponsorships and donations and this annual Charity Day is another way that the staff can give back and make a difference,” the company noted.
