Photos: First & Premier Division Football Action

[Updated with photos] Hamilton Parish, Boulevard Blazers, North Village Rams, Somerset Trojan, and Devonshire Cougars all claimed victories in this weekend’s First Division and Premier Division football action, while two matches ended in a draw.

First Division: Hamilton Parish 5 – Young Men Social Club 1

At the Wellington Oval, Hamilton Parish defeated Young Men Social Club 5 – 1. Jordan Outerbridge led the way for Hamilton Parish with his second hat trick of the season, while Che Lindo and Shayne Hollis added a goal each. N’Zyah Edwards scored the lone goal for Young Men Social Club.

First Division: Ireland Rangers 1 – St. David’s 1

At Malabar, Ireland Rangers and St. David’s played to a 1 – 1 draw. St. David’s took the lead in the 41st minute when Keijon Butterfield scored, but that lead only lasted two minutes until Rayheim Simons scored for Ireland Rangers.

First Division: Boulevard Blazers 3 – Vasco 1

The Boulevard Blazers defeated Vasco 3 – 1. All four goals came in the first half at the BAA Field. Enyche Zuill gave the Boulevard Blazers the lead in the 28th minute when he converted from the penalty spot and Zuill doubled the lead in the 32nd minute. The Boulevard Blazers got a third goal from Teh-Kiel Taylor in the 41st minute, but one minute later Vasco pulled a goal back when Eduardo Viera scored.

Premier Division: PHC Zebras 2 – Devonshire Colts 2

At PHC Stadium, the PHC Zebras and the Devonshire Colts played to a 2 – 2 draw. Rahzir Jones gave the Devonshire Colts the lead in the ninth minute when he scored from close range. Enrique Russell equalized for the PHC Zebras in the 69th minute.

Russell then gave the PHC Zebras the lead when he struck again in the 72nd minute, but Loquan Thomas equalized in the 89th minute.

Premier Division: Southampton Rangers 0 – North Village Rams 2

After a scoreless first half, the North Village Rams defeated Southampton Rangers 2 – 0 at the Southampton Oval.

The North Village Rams got single strikes from Ian Simmons and Jaizel Smith-Deshields in their win.

Premier Division: St. George’s Colts 0 – Somerset Trojan 1

The Somerset Trojans traveled to the Wellington Oval and came away with a 1 – 0 win over the St. George’s Colts.

After a scoreless first half, the Somerset Trojans got their lone goal of the game from Matteo Turner in the 56th minute.

Premier Division: X-Road’s 0 – Devonshire Cougars 3

The Devonshire Cougars defeated X-Road’s 3 – 0 at Garrison Field.

Zekiro White opened the scoring for the Devonshire Cougars in the 26th minute. Jomeko Mallory doubled the score when he found the back of the net in the 84th minute and then Lejuan Simmons closed out the scoring when he notched a goal in the 90th minute.
