Video: Sunday April 25th ‘Good News’ Spotlight
News that Dennis Joaquin created a beautiful mural in Warwick, CG Insurance donated $25,000 to the Covid-19 vaccine clinic, Zeiko Lewis was named as one of the ‘Top Five Attacking Midfielders’ and Justin Donawa scored a hat-trick were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, Shelby Madeiros recorded three victories in a Siena win, Caitlyn Bobb won three events at a track meet, Nikki Bascome released a music video for the song ‘Picture Me,’ and Skyport & Somers Isle Trading Company won the 2021 DFNI Award for ‘Airport in the Americas with the Most Supportive Approach to Retail.’
Other good news stories included the Bermuda Pie Company opening in the East End, Shiona Turini styling KiKi Layne for an Elle magazine shoot, Pembroke Brownies celebrating Women’s Month, Appleby donating $25,000 to the Covid-19 vaccination clinic and Slanga releasing his ‘Tick Tock’ music video.
More good news included Dominique Brown winning eight gold medals in a virtual breakout and Destini Hill-Edwards winning the 100M at the Eastern Connecticut State Invitational #2.
