U17 Football: Canada Defeats Bermuda

Bermuda’s second match in the 2022 Concacaf Women’s Under-17 Championship in the Dominican Republic saw them take on Canada, with Canada claiming the 5-0 victory.

Bermuda’s starting line up included Dominique Brown, Robin-Valana Pearman [Brittany Pacheco [83rd], Azari Easton [Keidel Astwood 80th], Samara Darrell, K Xiyae Gibbons, Jahni Simmons, Ramiah Brangman [Sanaa Simmons 61st], Ashley Dasilva, Camryn Lines [Christia Lugo-Elibox 80th], Zorena Anderson, Sarai Richardson

Canada’s starting line up included Noelle Henning, Nyema Ingleton, Janet Okeke, Ella Ottey [Ireluwa Omotayo 53rd], Zoe Markesini [Isabel Monck 53rd], Clare Logan, Amanda Allen, Felicia Roy [Cami Colpitts 53rd], Anna Hauer, Jade Bordeleau [Nyah Rose 63rd], and Renee Watson [Rosa Maalouf 63rd].

Concacaf said, “The other game in Group F saw Canada down Bermuda 5-0. Rosa Maalouf pulled level with Amalia Villarreal of the United States for the scoring lead in the CWU17 (6 goals) with a pair of scores (70’, 86’), while Clare Logan (15’), Jade Bordeleau (39’) and Anna Hauer (43’) also found the back of the net. With the results from the day, both Jamaica and Canada have clinched berths in the knockout round.”
