Video: Sunday Sept 4th ‘Good News’ Spotlight
News that the U17 football team won games in the Concacaf Qualifiers, the Hamilton Princess officially opened Intrepid, its new dining experience, Nasir Rudolph and Maya Leighton earned Bermuda Maritime Scholarships, Vincent Darrell earned the Sheila Nicoll Argus Award, and the Hamilton Princess appointed Roydell Neverson as the Director of Operations were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, Nia Christopher scored for her Towson University team, Natalie Gazzard and Megan Hands won the silver medal in the CAZOVA Under 23 Beach Volleyball Tour, Nahki Wells scored in Bristol City’s 2-0 win over Huddersfield Town, six people completed a Walkers summer internship, and Kamau Leverock signed with the Florida Scorpions.
Other good news stories included the Hamilton Princess being named by Historic Hotels Worldwide as having one of 2022′s top 25 “most magnificent art collections,” Rosewood Bermuda donating school supplies, young entrepreneurs earning awards from the BEDC, the Green family awarding scholarships to 10 students, Fortitude Re providing support to CedarBridge, and Ki-Juan Minors winning the Reserve Championship in Florida.
