Photos: World Rugby Classic Canada vs Lions

[Updated with photos] Following Bermuda’s 35-16 victory over Gibraltar, Canada notched a victory of their own at the World Rugby Classic with a 19-15 win over the Lions.

The Classic Lions took the lead when James Shanahan scored, and Delon Armitage kicked the conversion to make it 7 – 0. John Moonlight went over for Canada, but with the conversion missed, the Lions held a 7 – 5 lead. The Classic Lions had Armitage kick a penalty to take the lead at half time 10 – 5.

Aaron Mclelland scored a try for Canada, and when Conor Hunter kicked the conversion, Canada took the lead 12 – 10. The Classic Lions got a try from David McGregor, but the conversion attempt was missed, leaving the score 15 – 12 to the Lions

Canada took the lead for the final time when Jordan Tait went over for a try and Hunter kicked the conversion as Canada held on for the 19 – 15 win.
