Street Closures In City Due To Road Paving
The City of Hamilton is advising motorists, area businesses and the general public of street closures due to road paving the week of January 16th.
A spokesperson said, “Brunswick Street will be closed from Dundonald Street to Beacon Street, and Beacon Street will be closed from Brunswick Street to Cedar Avenue. The work should take five days and is weather dependent. A traffic notice has been issued.
“The public are encouraged to exercise caution in the area. Signage and barriers will be in place.
“Future road paving will be done at Washington Street from Dundonald Street to Victoria Street, the eastbound lane of Front Street from the Supermart to the eastern boundary of the City, and the southbound lane from Church Street to Reid Street. Traffic notices will be posted.
“The City apologizes for any inconvenience caused by these necessary upgrades.”
