Happy New Year! New that Bermuda celebrated the New Year; Sheelagh Cooper, Captain Alvin Harvey, Dr. Myra Virgil, Leon “Sparky” Place, and Linda Fox-Tailford earned King’s New Year Honours, and Dante Leverock earned the #1 spot in Concacaf’s ‘Best Goals of 2022 were some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, Scott Barnes made podium finishes in Florida, Hamilton Princess & Beach Club delivered Christmas dinner to members of the Bermuda Police Service and the Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service, the Bermuda Police Service gave back for Christmas, ake Five donated 600 meals to families, Bermuda won the second highest World Triathlon Championship Series medals, Inside Caribbean Football named Nahki Wells as the best player of Bermuda in 2022.
