The Ocean View Club Championship saw Jonathan James named the 2023 champion, Larry Brangman the Senior Men’s champion, and Ann Symonds the Ladies champion.
Men’s Open & Senior Men’s Championship – Match Play
A spokesperson said, “Congratulations to Jonathan James on becoming the 2023 Ocean View Club champion; Larry Brangman on becoming the Senior Men’s champion, and Ann Symonds the Ladies champion.
“The Men’s Open and Senior Men’s Championship was a Match Play event consisting of flights of eight players.
Ladies Championship – Stroke Play [3 out of 4 rounds].
“The Ladies Championship was a Stroke Play event with the best three out of four rounds to count.
“Ann Symonds was the winner with a Gross combined score of 242. Paula Smith and Ann Mitchell tied with a net score of 286, but Paula Smith was the winner on tie break.
Men’s 54 Hole Stroke Play Event
“The Men’s 54 Hole Stroke Play event was played alongside the Ladies Championship with three out of four rounds to count. Darrin Lewis was the low gross winner with a total combined score of 242. Cal Dill Sr. was the net winner with a score of 216.”
