Video: Sunday April 2nd ‘Good News’ Spotlight
News that tennis player Tobiah Goodchild advanced in Costa Rica, Mosaic’s co-CEO Mitch Blaser was inducted into the George Washington School of Business [GWSB] Entrepreneurial Hall of Fame, Ariel Re donated $45,000 to Beyond Rugby Bermuda, the Management Trainee Programme certificate presentation was held, and the Bermuda Zoological Society cleaned up Harrington Sound were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, Bermuda Is Love launched the #5ADay Fruits & Vegetables Challenge, Open Mat Bermuda members won medals in Orlando, the Butterfield Bermuda Championship tournament helped more than 60 local charities, Bermuda’s Rotary Youth held a car wash and country bake sale, and the late Ruby Bailey was highlighted at the Museum of the City of New York.
More good news stories included Cavon Burchall and Ernest Signor being named Global Heroes of Hope, Tyler Christopher earning a dominant win in Birmingham, Sancho Smith being named Athlete of the Week, Nikki Bascome being honoured by the Bermuda Boxing Federation, and Wallpaper Wednesday featuring a 3D diamond Bermuda.
