‘Night At The Movies’ Concert On Saturday
The Bermuda Philharmonic is inviting everyone to their “Night at the Movies” Summer Pops Concert this coming Saturday [July 1] from 6-8pm in Victualling Yard, Dockyard.
A spokesperson said, “The Philharmonic is bringing Bermuda its movie favourites: From Star Wars and Harry Potter, to Mission Impossible and Pirates of the Caribbean, James Bond, and more. Joy Barnum and Indigo Adamson will be joining the orchestra as vocalists for some serious showstoppers.
“Tickets come with a ‘choose your own adventure’ of how to enjoy the evening. Guests can bring a blanket, chairs, and a picnic and enjoy the concert from the lawn surrounding the tent or can choose to watch the whole orchestra from inside the tent in traditional concert seating.
“The Frog and Onion will be offering a special ‘Yardside’ menu and bar service, and there will be food trucks serving up wood-fired pizzas, popcorn, and ice cream.
“Two chartered ferry departures to Albouy’s Point have been arranged; one after the concert finishes at 8:15 pm, and a 2nd run at 10:00 pm for those of you who want to stay a bit longer. Note: there is limited capacity so reserving tickets soon is recommended for those that do not want to drive. Adult tickets are $65, and senior and student tickets are $35.
“Tickets for both the concert and chartered return ferry can be purchased here.”
