Video: Sunday July 2nd ‘Good News’ Spotlight
News that Emma Harvey and Madelyn Moore won medals at the CAC Games, Clearwater Middle School students brought Mary Prince’s legacy to life, Lancashire Insurance Group donated $50,000 to Waterstart, and Mishale Corday received the Brown Family Scholarship were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, Yushae DeSilva-Andrade and Omar Hayward continued their winning starts at the World Boccia Challenger in Chile, BCHC’s technologists completed Mammography Positioning Training, Bermuda’s Special Olympics athletes return home, WISTA recognised Stevedoring Services Limited and donated $1,300 to Endeavour, Tyler Kerr and Rhiannon Morgan won Muay Thai titles, Ayr Cannonier and Imojen Judd received United World Colleges bursaries, and Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service held a pinning ceremony.
