In recent football matches, Young Men’s Social Club triumphed over X-Roads with a score of 5-2, while the PHC Zebras secured a 4-1 victory against North Village Rams.
Young Men’s Social Club 5 – X-Roads 2
Young Men’s Social Club picked up their first points in the Dudley Eve tournament after they defeated X-Roads in their Group A match by a score of 5 – 2.
Jinairo Johnston opened the scoring in the 5th minute and doubled the lead in the 23rd minute. Aaron Spencer pulled a goal back for X-Roads in the 26th minute. Young Men’s Social Club maintained their 2-1 lead at halftime.
In the 48th minute, Tymon Daniels equalized for X-Roads at 2-2, but Jomeko Mallory restored Young Men’s Social Club’s lead in the 58th minute. Renaldo Clacken extended their lead to 4-2 in the 65th minute before Mallory scored his second goal in the 84th minute to secure the victory/
North Village Rams 1 – PHC Zebras 4
The PHC Zebras came from behind and defeated the North Village Rams 4 – 1 in their Group A clash.
The North Village Rams took the lead in the 24th minute when Adio Tankard scored. In the 38th minute, Keishon Bean’s corner was put into the back of the net by a Village player to make it 1 – 1, on the stroke of half-time Kadeem Abraham converted from the penalty spot to put the PHC Zebras ahead 2 – 1 at the break.
In the 67th minute, Enrique Russell made it 3 – 1 for the PHC Zebras and he then got his second of the game to push the PHC Zebras to a 4-1 victory.
