Voysey-Moss Appointed VP Of Broking Services

November 2, 2023

Freisenbruch Insurance Services [FIS] has appointed Marie Voysey-Moss as Vice President of Broking Services.

A spokesperson said, “Marie has spent the last sixteen years within the Lloyd’s market as an underwriter and as a placing broker running a Financial Institutions team. She has cultivated relationships in the UK and offshore in Jersey, Guernsey, and the Isle of Man, as well as BVI and Cayman, servicing clients that specialize in complex multi-jurisdiction corporate business and wealth management.”

Mrs. Voysey-Moss says, “I am thrilled to be continuing my journey leading a Broking team here in Bermuda. Over the years, I have maintained a diverse book of coverage including Professional Indemnity, Crime, Directors & Officers Liability, Kidnap & Ransom, Medical Malpractice, and Cyber Security, which have allowed me to take a holistic view of my client’s risk exposure.

“By maintaining a diverse network and cultivating relationships with a number of markets and underwriters through face-to-face broking at Lloyd’s, I can take a broader perspective on market appetite and cover available. I’m here to bolster the team and bring the technical knowledge to ensure that local and exempt business is placed here with Bermudian regulated brokers.”

The spokesperson said, “Marie’s past experience includes working as a Lloyd’s of London wholesale placing broker, which gave her a larger client base with diverse business needs and coverage requirements ranging from building contractors, banking institutions, architects, advocates, fund managers, corporate service providers, hospitals, and HVAC engineers.

“From her time underwriting at a market innovating insurer, Marie’s extensive training in Cyber Liability enables her to better understand the elements of coverage that it affords, its trigger points, the risk factors for customers, and the threats that they face, which can often be missed by some brokers when giving examples of how coverage can be activated.”
